Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Complete refund excluding service charges
Processing Duration: 5-7 working days
Service Charge: £50 for transactions via credit card
Prerequisites: Must be initiated formally through electronic mail or by a telephone call
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half the total cost of the yacht rental
Processing Duration: 7-10 working days
Service Charge: £25 deducted from the refund amount
Prerequisites: A substantiated reason is required; administrative costs will be factored in
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: No possibility of refund
Exception: Consideration provable emergencies
Alternative: Rental credit might be provided following management's judgment
Prerequisites: Submission of documentation for emergencies
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
The welfare of our clients is paramount. When our certified captain determines that the weather conditions pose a danger to the operation of the yacht, clients are given several flexible options:
- Complete Refund: Issued when rescheduling is not feasible
- Reschedule: Rebook on an alternative available date without incurring extra charges
- Yacht Credit: Provided with a validity of one year from the original reservation date
Procedure for Weather Assessment
Weather evaluations consist of:
- Investigations into wind conditions
- Monitoring of sea conditions and swell height
- Forecast scrutiny for visibility and precipitation
- Observation of Coast Guard guidance and notifications
- Expert safety assessment from our captain
Decision Deadline: Conclusions about cancellations due to weather are finalized no less than 4 hours prior to the scheduled departure.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Unforeseen Medical Instances
We’re sympathetic to unexpected health emergencies that might arise. Special consideration is given to scenarios including:
- Unpredicted illnesses or injuries necessitating hospital care
- Loss within the immediate family
- Impromptu military service summons or recalls
- Juridical obligations such as jury service or subpoenas
- Disasters that hinder travel plans
Documentation for Processing
Documentation is required to accommodate requests for refunds related to medical urgencies:
- Medical validation or documentation from a hospital
- Certification of death in applicable situations
- Military deployment notices
- Judiciary summons or notices for jury duty
- Travel alerts or declarations of emergency
Processing: Requests for refunds under emergency conditions are handled within 3 to 5 working days after the correct documentation is provided.
Operational Cancellations
Technical Challenges
Should the selected yacht face unresolvable mechanical setbacks:
- Substitute Yacht: We strive to arrange a similar substitute
- Complete Refund: Offered if no appropriate substitute is found
- Partial Refund: Granted if the substitute yacht has a different pricing range
- Compensation: Additional compensation may be considered for the inconvenience caused
Crew Availability Issues
In the infrequent event of certified crew unavailability:
- Efforts to find an alternate crew will be made when feasible
- Complete refund if the charter is unable to proceed
- Opportunity to reschedule without extra charges

Mode of Payment
Approved refunds are sent back through the original method of payment:
- Credit Cards: Processed over 5-7 working days
- Bank Wires: Handled in 7-10 working days
- Cash/Check: Completed within 3-5 working days
Associated Fees
Credit Card Procedures
A £50 charge applies to cancellations made with more than 72 hours' notice
Bank Transfer Handling
A £25 charge applies for all reimbursements via bank transfer
International Transactions
Additional costs may be incurred for international transactions
Charter Credits
Credit Issuance Conditions
In certain cases, instead of a refund, credits for yacht charters may be offered:
- Unexpected cancellations (less than 24 hours notice)
- Interruptions due to adverse weather
- User-initiated changes in scheduling
- Disruptions due to operational reasons
Credit Stipulations
- Validity: 12 months from the time of issue
- Transfer Limitation: Credits cannot be transferred to others
- Amount: Reflects the complete value of the charter, excluding service fees
- Applicability: Can be applied to any available yacht rental
- Non-extendable: Credits must be used within the 12-month period without extensions
Compensation for Partial Services
Disruptions in Service
In the case of your yacht experience being interrupted or abbreviated due to reasons within our oversight:
- Proportional refund based on the untouched period of the rental
- Credit for a future charter equivalent in value
- Complimentary additional services or upgrades as an alternate compensation
Interruptions Caused by Guests
Should a rental end prematurely due to a guest's behavior or a breach of safety directives:
- No reimbursement for the remaining duration
- Full payment is required
- Potential for extra fees to arise
Dispute Management
If there's disagreement over a refund determination, options include:
- Appeal for a reassessment by our administrative body
- Submission of further documentation or proof
- Engage with consumer protection entities
- Exercise of legal rights under pertinent legislation
